Juror fiasco

In regards to the juror fiasco earlier this month, it is simply outrageous that law-abiding citizens were rounded up like common criminals and held against their will because those who were summoned for jury duty didn't show up.

This bad situation was made even worse when it was revealed that Judge Walton then left the bench and let a "visiting" judge hear the case. Maybe the reason these people didn't show up to do their duty was because they watch our judges constantly allow other judges to do theirs. Makes it hard to punish the scofflaws, doesn't it?
