Violet Hubert Suderman, a former long-time resident of Mariposa, died Aug. 26. She was 79.

Mrs. Suderman was born Nov. 28, 1929.

A memorial service was held on Sept. 4 at Palm Village in Reedley. A local memorial is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13 at Grace Community Church.
