The winners of the 2009 Mariposa Labor Day Parade have been announced. They are as follows:

Color guard: Mariposa VFW and US Forest Service, first; Mariposa Public Utility District, second; Julia Parker, first; No Jokaroka, first; Valley Vintage Car Club, first; Inky’s Basement Band, second; Pizza Factory, second; Vanetta & Boyd, first; Rancho Valencia, first; Pow Wow, second; Clampers, first; Julia Parker, first; Mariposa Brewing Company, second; Gail Croft, first; Mariposa Youth Football cheerleaders, second; Pizza Factory, second.

The sweepstakes award was presented to the Mariposa County High School Marching Band and Cheerleaders.

The judges were Marge Carter, Jean Dewey, Carol Dewey Iudice and Trent Williams.
